Raffles at Noon

| Thursday, July 9, 2009

My two friends strolling side-by-side to the Raffles Canteen. I was lucky to find a time when this parade square ("Raffles Square" -.-) wasn't crowded. Most of the time, it's only deserted when it rains. There wouldn't be clouds then.
One Raffles - Auspicium Melioris Aevi! =D
I'll get a picture of this scene at dusk, I'll upload it soon!

Gymnastics - Somersault

| Tuesday, July 7, 2009

Hi All!

For people in school, you should know that this is published slightly past schedule. It was taken on RI Open House (19th May)! I was armed to the teeth before going on a treacherous mission - to snap some photos of the event for five hours.
No regrets at all - the time was spent well enough.
Beside our Photography Club booth was the Gymnastics booth, which covered an area of more than 8 of our photo club booths pieced together! (Hmph! Maybe some exaggeration) I spammed the shutter release button of the the school's 400D long enough, and for many times. Wonder who that guy is, eh?

P.S. Michael, do you do this kinda thing? I would love to see you doing this! =D

Lonely at Dusk

| Monday, July 6, 2009

Hi All!

Recently, I realised the convenience of using a camera phone to capture interesting shots of daily life. My phone is a 3.2 MP Sony Ericsson W595 Walkman phone. 3.2MP, 5MP... I'm sure they don't make much of a difference!
Okay, now to the picture.
This was taken at dusk (or was it dawn?), when I was about to board the bus at a bus stop near Hougang Point. It all seems so empty, and when there's people, they're moody. It seems as if this sign post was moody too. There're some distracting parts at the corners of this picture though. I'm ready to airbrush them out! =D

Monkey Montage!

|

I was in Macritchie Reservoir the other day, trekking along this route by the reservoir. Then I saw these group of monkeys... And they posed! It's heartwarming to see that these monkeys aren't afraid of us humans any more, minding their own business regardless of the presence of us. However, friendship does come at a price. These monkeys are quite infamous for upholding an reputation of abducting small children and snatching their snacks! Maybe my flashgun could protect me in case of a monkey attack!
